A reading order that still respects how Wakanda legacy packets were sold
Premium collector packets rarely follow the month-by-month comic clock. Here is how we line Black Panther NFT issues against the court stories they were bundled with.
A collector in Nonthaburi sent us a spreadsheet with every Black Panther NFT comic they owned, sorted by drop date. The Wakanda court stories jumped backward twice. That is not a filing error. Several premium collector packets were sold as closed colophons: three or four issues that belong together on the page even when they arrived weeks apart on the calendar.
When we write a shortlist we keep two columns. Column one is story order: ancestral court, then the T'Challa street-and-throne years, then sister-line one-shots if you asked for family rather than chronology. Column two is how the packet was actually offered — named packet, later overlay, or open drop. Mixing those columns is how a set starts to look busy and still feel unfinished.
If you already read the issues in drop order, do not throw that habit away. Use it as a memory of when you found each comic. For display and for a legacy set, switch to packet order. We will mark the switch in the letter so you can explain it later to anyone who inherits the run.
